            Located in the North of the Cotentin Peninsula, in the department of Manche (North of France), Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue get equipped with two fortified towers further to the defeat of Louis XIV during the battle of La Hogue against the Anglo-Dutch flotilla (in 1692). Vauban entrusted the construction of these towers to one of his pupil, Benjamin de la Combe, to protect the city and the bay of Saint-Vaast against enemies’ attacks.


            This room of 12.2m² is based on the fourth and last floor of the hotel. Placed in the attic, this room offers a bird’s-eye view of the Place de la Révolution, one of the most central squares of the town.
